Will I incur high roaming charges if I turn on Data Roaming?
No. Turning on Data Roaming for an eSIM purchased through our service will not result in high or unexpected charges.
About prepaid eSIM charges
All eSIMs sold through our service are prepaid.
You can use the eSIM only within the data allowance and validity period you purchased, so turning on Data Roaming will not result in additional charges.
You do not need to worry about unexpected charges accumulating while you use the eSIM.
Be careful with roaming on your primary SIM
However, if you turn on Data Roaming for the primary SIM you normally use in Japan, you may incur high international roaming charges depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
We are unable to reimburse or refund any charges incurred if mobile data is used through your primary SIM instead of the eSIM purchased through our service.
When using your eSIM abroad, we recommend checking which SIM is being used for mobile data to avoid unexpected charges.
