My eSIM Shows “In Use” Before Installation

My eSIM Shows “In Use” Before Installation

Even if you have not installed the eSIM, the status on the “My eSIM” page may sometimes show “In Use.”

This status may not reflect the actual usage of the eSIM.
Please check the “About the status shown in My eSIM” section on the relevant product page for details.

Why the status may show “In Use”

For some products, the status in “My eSIM” changes to “In Use” as soon as you open the screen that displays the installation information, such as the QR code or setup details.
When this happens, the usage-period timer shown in “My eSIM” may also start counting down, and the QR code may no longer be displayed again.

About the remaining days shown in My eSIM

Once the eSIM appears under the “In Use” tab, the number of remaining days shown in “My eSIM” may appear to decrease.
However, this does not necessarily mean that the actual usage period is being consumed.

If the installation information is no longer displayed

If you open the installation information screen and then close it without installing the eSIM, the installation information may not be displayed again.
In this case, please contact our Customer Support Center.
We will provide you with the information needed to install the eSIM.

Info
The status described above is part of the specifications of certain products and may not reflect the actual usage status.
Regardless of what is shown in “My eSIM,” actual usage begins when the eSIM starts connecting to a network at your destination.
