There are several possible causes.
Even if an error appears, it is often related to your settings or current connection status and does not necessarily mean that the eSIM cannot be used.
For this reason, please do not delete the eSIM or select an option such as "Remove SIM."
If you accidentally delete the eSIM, it cannot be restored to its original state.
Your device is not connected to the internet
Your device must be connected to the internet when installing an eSIM.
Please make sure that Wi-Fi or mobile data is turned on and that your internet connection is stable.
The code was entered incorrectly during manual installation
If you are installing the eSIM manually, one of the codes may have been entered incorrectly.
Check for incorrect letters or numbers and make sure there are no extra spaces, then enter the code again.
An error appears during activation after installation
On some devices, activation starts automatically after the eSIM has been installed.
Because this eSIM is intended for use overseas, activation may not complete successfully while you are still in Japan, and an error message may appear.
In most cases, the eSIM itself has still been installed successfully.
The eSIM may already be installed
This often happens when you think the installation was unsuccessful and try to start the process again from the beginning.
Please check the list of SIMs on your device to see whether the eSIM has already been added.
If the issue is not resolved
If the issue continues after checking all of the above, please contact our Customer Support Center and provide information showing the error message you received.

If you send us a screenshot, please capture the entire screen rather than cropping only the error message.
